Every year, Mini Jamboree experiences rain and sometimes storms, but this had to be the wettest Jamboree to-date.
We, however, faired very well compared to other areas of the city.
A big thanks and congratulations to all the players, coaches, parents, referees, and volunteers that ventured out into the wetness to make the event work. Even though there was a rocky start to the weekend, Sunday finished up strong.
Another big thanks to all of our sponsors who made the weekend possible in the first place, and to the staff and facilities at Garden City Community Centre who pulled off yet another busy event.
50/50 Draws
There were two 50/50 draws held during the weekend. One on Friday May 28th, and the other on Sunday May 30th (Saturday & Sunday combined due to the storms). The results were as follows:
